About the job
As a pipe fitter, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining pipe systems for the transport of liquids, gases and other materials. As a welder, you are responsible for welding various metal parts and structures. As a metalworker, you take care of shaping and tailoring metal parts and structures.

What we expect from you
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in pipefitting is required. This includes reading and interpreting technical drawings, determining correct materials and tools, cutting and welding pipes, installing piping systems and carrying out repairs and maintenance.
- A good understanding of different types of piping materials, such as steel, copper, PVC and plastic. You know which materials are suitable for specific applications and conditions.
- You strictly follow safety procedures to prevent injuries and accidents. Knowledge of safety regulations and correct application of safety measures, such as wearing PPE, is essential.
- You can identify and solve problems and malfunctions in piping systems. This requires analytical skills, problem-solving thinking and implementing effective solutions.
- You can work well with other professionals, such as welders, plumbers and engineers. Good communication skills and teamwork are important.
- The work can be physically demanding, with prolonged standing, bending, lifting and working at height. Good physical condition is therefore required.
- You will regularly work at different locations and within a variety of projects. Flexibility and adaptability are required.
